Elaveezhapoonchira or Ilaveezha Poonchira is one of the eminent tourist spots in the Indian state of Kerala. This is mainly a trekking destination that is surrounded by small hills like Mankunnu, Kodayathoormala, and Thonippara. The meaning of Elaveezhapoonchira is "the pond of flowers where the leaves do not fall'. The place has great mythological significance. It is said that the Pandavas have stayed here for some time during their exile. To visit an ancient Krishna temple, a lot of pilgrims visit the place apart from the tourists.
