Pandipathu

At a distance of 68 Kms from Trivandrum, Pandipathu located inside Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary is famous for large population of Indian Wild Buffalo (or Gaur).

Situated on Kerala-Tamil Nadu boarder, Pandipathu can be accessible from Bonacaud. Forest Department of Kerala promotes an eco-tourism project called 'Visit To Bison Abode', a special 2-day package with night halt in the forest. Prior permission should be taken before proceeding from Assistant Wildlife Warden, Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary, Trivandrum (ph: 0471- 2892344).

Bonacaud is connected by bus service from Trivandrum.
