Vagamon, or Wagamon, is a hill station in Kerala's Idukki district, 45 kilometers from Thekkady, 58 kilometers from Idukki, 76 kilometers from Kumarakom, 64 kilometers from Kottayam, 92 kilometers from Munnar, 99 kilometers from Alleppey, 103 kilometers from Kochi, 181 kilometers from Madurai, and 196 kilometers from Trivandrum. With its altitude of 1100 m and surrounding by three hills, Vagamon is dubbed the Scotland of Asia. The British discovered this place is perfect to plant tea.
